Free Agent Pass Rushers
We've talked about Dee Ford. I posted a Brandon Graham thread but none of you assholes apparently wanted to talk about him. Maybe a general thread about the upcoming FAs is the way to go.
I've read a couple Chiefs fans talking about Justin Houston. Some think he'll be released. Here are his contract details (sherck stop drooling): https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/kansas-c...-houston-7789/ He's scheduled to make over $15 million in 2019, and $17 million in 2020. He is 29 years old. Until this upcoming offseason, he would've been a huge boat anchor of dead cap to cut. But if he's cut in the 2019 offseason, he'll only count $7 million against it. So, they might keep him another year, but they could cut him and save $8 million and change. It is hard to imagine they will re-sign Ford AND keep Houston at his cap number. Which of the two would you prefer to sign?

While I've talked up Bell, this (the defensive line) is where I hope there is enough talent available in free agency that we can spend a shitload of Irsay's money on. If a legitimate pass rusher is available pay him, even overpay but get him.

it would be unconventional for us to look for pass rush from the NTs, even though we have been toying off and on with the double A gap business. Might be something worth considering as a DT would generally be less expensive and perhaps even more common than a DE.
