The Colts and the Jets in 2017: the NFL Version of the Washington Generals
o
The Washington Generals are/were known for coming ever so close to beating the Harlem Globetrotters almost every time that that faced each other, only to see the men from northern Manhattan ALMOST ALWAYS pull out the game in the final minute of the 4th quarter ...... the two teams played each other over 13,000 times between 1953 and 1995, with the Generals winning only 6 of those games. The 2017 Colts (and to a similar extent, the 2017 New York Jets) have mirrored those competitive but loser Generals teams ...... their hopeful Horseshoe fans have witnessed many of their games go right down to the wire, only to see their opponent (the proverbial Harlem Globetrotters) emerge victorious in the end. The 2017 COLTS' RAZOR-CLOSE LOSSES: vs. Cardinals, 16-13 (Overtime) vs. Bengals, 24-23 vs. Steelers, 20-17 vs. Titans, 20-16 vs. Bills, 13-7 (Overtime) The 2017 JETS' RAZOR-CLOSE LOSSES: vs. Patriots, 24-17 vs. Dolphins, 31-28 vs. Falcons, 25-20 vs. Buccaneers, 15-10 vs. Panthers, 35-27 o

I'm Watching the offensive creativity of Adam Gase and dreaming that one day we will have some of that...Stacking receivers, no back sets,.....
