Zaire Franklin is an All-Pro
Quote:
In 2024, Franklin led the NFL in tackles with 173, nine more than the player with the second-most tackles (Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker). He is the first Colts player to lead the NFL in tackles since linebacker Shaquille Leonard (163 in 2018). Starting all 17 games for the Colts, Franklin tallied 11 tackles for a loss, three and a half sacks and three pass breakups. The seven-year veteran and five-time team captain also set career highs in 2024 in interceptions (two) and forced fumbles (five).
This marks the first time Franklin has been named an All-Pro in his career. The linebacker was also selected for his first Pro Bowl following his performance in 2024.

This might be the first time in my life I've seen a guy on our squad get an award like this and I was surprised. Probowls became pretty meaningless imo, but All-Pro's were something to be treasured and are really the best indicator of whether or not a player is HOF worthy. To me Franklin has essentially been another Pat Angerer, maybe a little better.
Am I being to hard on this guy? Does the tape illustrate something I'm not seeing? I'm genuinely confused, Seriously.
If our LB room wouldn't just turn into the DB room with no experience and lack of depth, I'd be aggressively trying to trade this dude for a competent TE, S, CB, or draft pick. No time better than the present.
