Former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy will be replacing Jason Garret, who had a 9 and-a-half year run at the helm from 2010 through 2019. He will be the 9th head coach in franchise history (1960 - Present.) Garrett had the 2nd-longest tenure of being the team's head coach, behind Tom Landry's 29-season stint from the franchise inception (1960) through 1988.
