Emailed Edmonton today for a chance to talk to Milanovich about Marcus Brady. Got a response back he was no longer with the team. Milanovich resigned a couple of hours ago. He and Brady have a long history together in the CFL, and he's a former Maryland QB.

Frank Reich wanted to hire Milanovich in 2018, but he already was QB coach (and interim OC) in Jacksonville. Spent three seasons with the Jags before becoming HC in Edmonton last year. Pandemic canceled CFL season, and he never coached a game for the franchise.

Asst O-Line Coach Klayton Adams has pulled a McVisor and will now stay with the Colts. As annoying as moving is during normal times, I would imagine it is even worse during COVID-19. Maybe it didn't take too much effort to twist his arm to stay with the Colts.

JUST IN: Recent Arizona State hire Klayton Adams has reversed course and is staying with the Indianapolis Colts in a similar role.

So Herm Edwards is back looking for an offensive line coach.

When I talked with Colts offensive line coach Chris Strausser last week he made it clear how much the Colts valued Adams. The team recently lost its OC to Philadelphia, which may have set this in motion.

The Texans have made an interesting choice for its head coach - David Culley.

This is the first time he has been a head coach at the pro or college level.

In his entire career, he has only been an Offensive Coordinator one year - over 20 years ago at UTEP.

Saw a rumor that Leslie Frazier (another candidate with multiple interviews) had asked the Texans for a longer term - more years on the contract. Any head coaching candidate should have demanded a Matt Rhule type contract - 7 years. Obviously it wouldn't guarantee that the coach would reach the end of the contract but it may make the Texans think twice about firing too early.
