Now, I suppose you could argue that having all the agents like you might suggest you're a pushover or something like that, but if you look at the contracts that Ballard's negotiated I really don't think that narrative is borne out.
This is validation that Jim Irsay is a players owner. Ballard carriers out the mission statement issued by the owner, build a TEAM. Screwing with the employees never yields positive results

In an athletic article they polled agents and Ballard received the most votes for best GM and best talent evaluator.

Agents usually like to put their clients into positive, winning situations. It's great news that so many of them think this highly of BDB.

Its a good sell with FA's as well as opposed to say Brian Flores who signed three big FA's then cut them the next year.

When Kevin Bowen interviewed Paye last week, Paye mentioned that after the Colts picked him everyone said the same thing. Colts are a great, well run, organization and he was going to a great team.
