TY is pretty pumped up about Wentz. After watching numerous interviews with Wentz, I have changed my mind about him. He appears to be a pretty damn good teammate and he is working out with all of the Colt wide receivers. Hopefully he regains his MVP type play, which I believe he will with Reich. The Eagles were a shit show. Can't wait for the season to start.

I'm with you Spike. Wentz will turn out to be a steal for us.

I’m optimistic, I think he is more likely to do well than turn in another bad season.

Now, just get us this guy and an edge rusher and we could be SB bound.

Yeah, I was all in on Darrisaw, but the more I hear, watch, and read about Jenkins, I'm really hoping for him.
Bad attitude mauler. Imagine him next to Nelson. |

Darrisaw Slater Jenkins Leatherwood Radunz Cosmi Eichenberg I like all those guys to have a shot at being a 10+ quality left OT in the league. We will have choices of getting one of them in the 1st or 2nd round of the draft. I cannot wait! |

It's not just that he's a mauler or the attitude. He's a technician, and he toys with edge rushers before burying them at times. His hand usage is outstanding, and he doesn't get beat on the arc. I had concerns about athleticism because of him playing RT instead of LT, but his RAS blew those out of the water. I've seen criticisms that he doesn't get to his pass sets on time, but to me the film just doesn't reflect that. I think Jenkins is a 10+ year starter at LT if he stays healthy for all of the above reasons.

Guys,
Please don't forget that we are vertical pass set team. When watching film on OT prospects that has to be taken into account. Some prospects like Eichenberg in particular seem to be already trained in that technique. Others not so much. I would say Darrisaw fits into the latter category. Probably not that big of a deal, I'm sure most OT's can learn a foreign technique, but it is worth considering if you want the guy to hit the ground running from day 1. |

I am just pretty excited that we will appear to have options in BOTH the 1st and 2nd rounds of OTs that look to be day one starters.
If we are looking at options between Radunz, Little or Eichenberg in the 2nd round because we picked DE in the 1st, that is not a bad choice to make. Heck, a lot of mock drafts I sim still have Cosmi available to us in the 2nd round (not that I think that is realistic but...) I think Ballard will find the guy he wants and with his drafting history of Nelson and Smith, I think that the kid will work out. |
