Thanks. I didn't know that.

I remember watching a game between the Cowboys and the Eagles in the Fall of 1986, and the clock ran out in the first half with Herschel Walker lying in the middle of the field deep in Eagles territory, waiting for an Eagles defender to touch him.

Tough loss. Defeat, snatched from the jaws of victory. Last night, I toggled my TV between the Colts/Ravens game and my Giants in a playoff game against the hated Dodgers. Once the Colts blew it, I gained satisfaction watching the Giants shut out the LADS. If the Colts could have played D to 1% of the D the Giants demonstrated, they would have won that game.

One of those misses was because Cambell blocked the kick. He was coming close all night. That’s on the line, not Blankenship. Blankenship missed a extra point but also made a 30 yarder. That last kick he missed was too far for him. They spent the last play running to center the ball when instead they should have been trying to pick up 10-15 more yards to get closer. They had a timeout left.
Seriously?

Next time call out the bad call real time before the play in the game thread. Can't use hindsight.

It didn't matter. The Ravens also failed on a 2 point conversion. The analytics call for the 2 pointer given the score difference. Had they kicked and made the EP the Ravens would have also kicked and not gone for it. The difference in the score would't have changed. Ravens would not have had to take a chance and ran a 2 pointer to keep the score within reach.

The Defense lost 3 players in the secondary and they couldn't stop them so they passed it all over the yard. The D was spent but we still had a chance to win and The kicker missed the game winner at the end of the game.

Only chance in OT was to win the coin flip and score a TD. As soon as Wentz called heads I knew we were done.

I don't feel nearly as bad about that loss after a night's sleep and the realization that the Colts played about as well as possible, there was no lack of effort, especially by the defense. Andrews is a beast and the Colts had no answer for him last night...if Blankenship is healthy the Colts win this game, but the schedule gets a little easier, winning 4 of the next 5 could still give this team a chance to make the playoffs...I haven't given up on this season yet!

I am with you... I also say if we had better coaching decisions this team is no worse than 3-2 right now... Players are giving it their all then you put them in a position to lose by calling the worst plays.

Reich is easily one of the worse game day coaches in the league.

Kinda wonder what the board would be posting had Rodrigo made the game winning FG with 6 seconds remaining.

I have to call it out? I’m watching the game, not caring about making a post about every single decision.

He does this every week. He goes for situations he doesn’t have to. These games are decided by very few points and he is costing us those games. You don’t need to go for two in the middle of the game, you delay it because it is a bigger risk, common knowledge. All other coaches do this, especially with a lead. Been doing it for years. The Ravens did it because they were behind and HAD to. As usual the Colts can drive it down the field but can’t get it into the end zone, or have you not been watching this year.

Dline is healthy and has depth, yet they can’t seem to close the pocket and put pressure on Jackson.

That they almost let it slip away. They deserved to win that game. Ravens looked uninspired.

Okay, we get it. You have no faith in the coaching staff.
