Back on the practice field today for the Colts: Darius Leonard and Clayton Geathers.

Malik Hooker wasn't practicing with the team, but did come out later, with cleats on (likely to work on the side). Wouldn't rule him out from practicing later in the week.

Malik Hooker (torn meniscus) on his status this week: "I want to prepare myself to play. But if I’m not healthy enough to play, or I’m not good enough to go out there & be at that level -- I mean you saw last week. The guys we got. I mean, you saw it. So I’m not going to panic."

Texans notes:

One of the Texans starting CB's will be out vs the Colts.

Reich: Malik Hooker won't practice today. Plan is for him to be on field Thursday.

Colts safety Malik Hooker, coming off a meniscus tear last month, won't practice today, but the plan is for him to be out there tomorrow. Probably still unlikely he sees the field Sunday vs. Houston.

Reich says Devin Funchess is making progress but wouldn't commit to him practicing next week

Roby being out helps us a bit. TY should have an easier time or will be constantly doubled back there. Would be nice to have Funchess back this week.

If they don't double TY, then O'Brien is an idiot. If they do double TY then the other guys have to step up and make plays.

My hope is that this will be a carbon copy of the Chiefs game, with one exception...we will have to make more plays in the passing game against a beat up secondary.

Be a great time for Cain to break out if he ever is going to.

Way too much hype built around Cain. I would just let him be a rookie. Besides our whole passing game has taken a step back.

Conversely, the Colts need to double Hopkins.

Desir shut him down in m2m coverage in at least two of the games last season. I believe a combination of Desir and Ya-Sin can do that again.
