Incredible. Is there as SINGLE person in this entire organization that is good at public relations? Anyone, one, even an intern, someone on the property maintenance crew?

If this is true, and not some back room crafted fucking bullshit CYA story (probably drawn up by Ballard who seems like the type of guy that would lie to his mom about the money he stole out of her purse to buy steroids...), IF this is true, then man we need to get the fuck away from Steichen as fast as we possibly can. He is so bad at communicating that he is repeatedly putting his young and clearly confident deficient QB, in the cross hairs of the fanbase and the media.

Me, I think it's all bullshit and is some form of further Steichen trying to drive a point home with AR so they just keep fumbling the ball re: the story behind it. If so, well then we really have a big problem at QB and maturity that will probably never rectify itself.

And for the good of the record, the 6-5" 250 QB that is most effective when just demolishing the defenders in front of him with brutal physicality- yeah that dude having a disc problem, not the greatest prognosis for the future...

YDFL Commish recently pointed out that we had bona-fide leadership when Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck, and Philip Rivers played here, and not in all of the other years (2011, 2017 through 2019, and 2021 through 2024.)

Matt Ryan may have been able to do what Rivers did in 2022, but the offensive line was the complete antithesis of the 2020 offensive line (they were great in 2020, and absolutely horrible in 2022) ...... if Philip Rivers had had Matt Ryan's offensive line "blocking" for him, he would not have survived half the season, let alone led the team to 11 wins and a playoff berth.

Andrew luck was capable of driving a mediocre team into the playoffs. At this stage of his career, Anthony Richardson isn’t capable of taking a good team there. That’s not to say that maybe someday in the future he won’t be, but right now he doesn’t throw with the kind of anticipation we saw from Joe Flacco.

I don’t know if Chris Ballard’s head is on the chopping block this year; but I know that if Anthony Richardson doesn’t show real growth over the next 370 days, it might be.

Yeah, I always knew he would have played had he been able to. He wants to play and he wants to win.

I think his issues are in preparing to be successful at that level. He needs to learn that he has to put in the work.

For the record, I’ve always thought the tap out debacle was way overblown. It seemed like it got blown way out of proportion. I think it was a very young player who just wasnt thinking.

I think Steichen and AR do not get along and that one of them won’t be back next year. Steichen seems all to eager to throw AR under the bus.

discs pop out and go back in. causing temporary issues. happened to me and I could barely move for 3 days. couldn't stand up straight for almost 2 days. was much better in a week.

doesn't always require surgery and disc may not be an issue in the near future

I don't get why people, who are not doctors, freak out and jump to conclusions about players.

Your not a fuckin football player

Your not quarterbacking my team

Your not a fuckin doctor either

Lastly you don’t know shit about me

I’ve had back problems as well and missed zero days of work, hobbling around in discomfort not being able to sleep all that shit unfortunately for me I didn’t get drafted #4 overall and get millions of dollars so I had to work

So I saw the AR interview on X where he mentions the disc issue. He goes on to say that this has been a problem for him since 8th grade! If this is true and Ballard recruited him knowing this, this is gross incompetence. If Ballard didn’t know this, this is gross incompetence. Ballard needs to go.
