Default Cheap day at the game: Colts stadium costs compare favorably to other NFL teams

It's not cheap to attend an Indianapolis Colts game, but a day at Lucas Oil Stadium is a bargain compared to other NFL stadiums, according to a report.

Bookies.com compared prices at every home stadium using these costs: 4 cheapest tickets, lot parking, 2 16-ounce beers, 2 20-ounce sodas, and 4 hot dogs. Ticket prices for each team were determined by averaging out the lowest widely available ticket cost for each home game over the entire season as of Aug. 21, 2023.

The Colts come in as the second least expensive day at the game. That's one place better than 2022.

The cheapest Colts tickets would total $247.11, according to the report, with New Orleans Saints ($228.50) and Atlanta Falcons ($241.50) tickets going for less.

Parking goes for $30, tied for the third most affordable with many teams. Atlanta's parking is $24 and Miami's goes for $25.

Two beers go for $16, two sodas for $8 and four hot dogs for $23.

That adds up to $324.11 for four people to watch the Colts from the cheap seats, up $23.11 from last season. Only Atlanta's day at the stadium goes for less ($293.10).

The most expensive? The Las Vegas Raiders by a lot, totaling $1,381.96. Apparently, if you're willing to see a singer in a Vegas residency and lose money gambling, spending big at the stadium is no problem.

NFL average: $550.65 for tickets; $45.03 for parking; $17.86 for beer; $10,64 for soda; $22.70 for hot dogs, for a total of $646.88.

o

Thanks for the info.

I always save a small fortune whenever I go to baseball games and football games by bringing my own food, and parking for free a few blocks away from the stadium.
