OL and QB- continuous struggles = Failure of leadership
Great segment on the Bowen and Query show, and it really resonated.
Cut away everything else, focus exclusively on these two things, the OL and the QB. Ask the question are either Ballard or Reich proving they are good at what they were allegedly good at. Don't apply filters, establish excuses, etc... just look at the performance vs the expectation. Ballard proclaimed OL master, gonna build inside out, etc...- We have started 9 different O-linemen this year. Frank alleged QB genius, can get it done with inferior talent because he is a genius. Year after year after year the QB position has been a problem and we've reached a level where a 6th round draft pick is now the hail mary hope of the team. We are averaging 16 pts game in 2022 NFL pin-ball machine offense era. Strip it all away and look at it from this prism. Nope, neither one of them deserve to still have a job, period, they are failures at their acclaimed strengths. |
