Great addition. By all accounts he is way better than Tevi and Davenport, well, that's not saying much, a box of rocks is better than them. Keep rolling Ballard, this may end up being his best overall off-season yet.

Bringing in Antonia Callaway for a look at wide receiver. With his history they must really like him to invite him to try out. Maybe they think Reggie, Matt and Frank can turn him around in his personal life. Ballard must think the culture is pretty damn strong to bet on someone like Callaway (even if it a long shot)

Colts sign RB Phillip Lindsay

Bit of a headscratcher. Do they really not like the depth past Hines that much? Verdell and Borghi are both interesting guys who should be able to capably fill in the back end of the depth chart.

As a Colorado alumni, I love the signing!

Not sure he'll make it past training camp but still.

Agreed. Fuckem’ up fuckem’ up, go CU! Articles are saying special teams, but I don’t understand that.

Probably more of a gamble that if he can shine early, he can be traded for a nice pick.

He might just make the team by the way he runs. He doesnt tippy toe dance, he presses the hole, makes his cut and goes. He has NFL experience, so small learning curve.

He fails, not a big deal. He succeeds, teams will be forced to defend the run all the time

Most of the game day snaps of a typical RB3 are on special teams so that comment is not entirely surprising.

I know no one will admit this - but I wonder if Lindsay is here for the RB4 role instead.

Select one of the young guys for the RB3 role to participate on special teams.

Stash Lindsay on the practice squad and then if an injury happens, promote him to the active roster when needed.

Colts add another veteran RB to the mix: former Baltimore Raven Ty’Son Williams

Colts continue to add depth with the signing of former Ravens RB Ty'Son Williams.

It's going to be a competitive camp — Williams will compete with Phillip Lindsay and Deon Jackson behind league rushing champ Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines in a crowded running back room.
