I mean, you can see the Bills beating KC, but a WR lining up offside???? WTF!!!
With all the upsets - Pittsburgh and Houston especially - it keeps us in the playoffs. Which I don't think we deserve to be. Cincinnati is a Team that can bet the full strength Jages with a second string QB.

We're not. What frustrates me the Most is that with Richardson's injury, he's not getting the reps, and that next year will be what this year should have been. Props to Gardner Minshew, all that, but drat.

I agree 100% that the refs seem to suck more this year than in years previous, but this wasn't like the Browns game where they stole it from us on a single play.

We had a lot of opportunities to stop them from scoring 31.
And that's where I'm coming from. I normally have a hard time blaming officials for losses because you get into this whole butterfly effect where, especially in a game like this where so much beyond the refs was going wrong... there's a bazillion different outcomes that could've been.

Doesn't mean the refs didn't fuck us.

Cleveland was a rare exception for me because it was so egregious and direct at the end.

Richardson should still be gaining, growing, and developing right now. He should be doing all the behind the scenes work, film study, understanding game plans, etc. that young QBs do to improve when they're not playing. Mahomes didn't play a snap his rookie year, won NFL MVP his second year, and credits the first year of development for being able to achieve that the second year.

Exactly. Take the block in the back on Kenny for the Bungles first TD. Some posters on here think it's a foregone conclusion that our D stops them if the refs throw the flag there. But it was on first down, so the Bungles would have had the ball at 1st and 20. No guarantee that we stop them.

The only play where the refs absolutely fucked us on the scoreboard was the BS holding call on Q.

It was. Maybe it doesn't get called that much, but the replay clearly showed that Bryan had his left hand on another players shoulder while he was jumping to try to block the FG which is a penalty.

o

Correct.

It is similar to the leaping rule, of which the Colts and Mike Vanderjagt were the beneficiary of in a Monday Night Footballl game against the Buccaneers in October of 2013 ...... it was the right call, even if it was the first time that it was called since the Herbert Hoover administration.
