Eberflus is the second. He's going to the Bears per Keefer.
I hope that isn't a mistake, letting him go. The Colts are sort of a mess right now.

Kind of hard not to let a guy go when its a upward move. Isnt that generally the way teams handle these things, you dont block a coach from moving up?

If they did no one would want to work for them again.

It is a sign of what other professionals in the NFL think of Reich. Great young coaches will want to work for him because it provides an opportunity for advancement. This is nothing but good for the Colts, one of the few things going right for us at the moment.

Holder and Keefer on their latest podcast still think it’s more likely than not that Wentz returns next year. But I get the feeling they think that only because there’s really nothing else out there.

I don’t know if I can stand another year of knucklehead Wentz. That guy is the most maddening player I’ve ever watched.

Get used to it. Yeah I hated seeing him just throwing off foot backsliding in practice instead of setting and digging in. It’s his style and it obviously doesn’t work.

Odds are that's correct. There's a bunch of guys that aren't an (obvious) upgrade over Wentz. Why bother? Take a chance on a full off-season making some improvement.

And the worthwhile guys are going to require some serious moves. SEA wanted three 1st rounders for Wilson last year.
