Default Selected Quotes from the Texans' Message Board - Wild Card Weekend Edition

I did this last time we played the Texans, so I thought I'd try it again. This time, the Texans fans' anger seemed directed mainly at their own coaching staff, but they still provided some interesting quotes.

Quote:
Hilton CLOWNING us ALREADY.
Quote:
And here I thought my hatred of a Hilton was maxed out with Paris.
Quote:
It does not matter what defensive coverage we call because T.Y. burns us anyway.
Quote:
Colts making us their bitches today.
Quote:
Luck smarter than whole D
Quote:
Outcoached on both sides of the ball....
Quote:
Outcoached is an understatement
Quote:
It’s amazing what a really good OL can do for you and the way they can whip a Ds azz
Quote:
This is more embarrassing than any other time I can remember as a Texans fan
Quote:
The Colts are thoroughly sodomising us out there
Quote:
The most embarrassing thing is how easy this is for Luck...... he is back there taking pics and making calls before he even throws the rock
Quote:
Their oline is mauling us. There's no coming back in this one unfortunately.
Quote:
Look at the other sidelines guys. That is what a real coaching staff looks like.
Quote:
Dear lord I hate neck beard.
Quote:
Lucky the Colts are running time off the clock, helps make us not so bad.
Quote:
Frank "rookie HC" Riech had an offensive plan that correctly identified our weaknesses & executed it flawlessly on the road after playing a must win game last Sunday night.
Quote:
Is ty still a clown? Looks like a hof'er every time I watch him.
Quote:
The defense is top 5 and got ran over. They couldn't get off the field in the first half... And Luck is head and shoulders above Watson.
Quote:
I just watched the game again. The Texans lost, not because of O'Brien, but because the Colts are a better team, and Andrew Luck is a better QB than Watson. Simple as that. Sometimes the truth hurts.
Quote:
Gotta hand it to the Colts, they have a good HC, an awesome/punishing/relentless offensive line.

I thought the Texans players still whining about TY after the game were classless. The dude talked the talk and then walked the walk. While injured no less.

Just tip your caps and move on.

Probably a topic that deserves his own thread, but one of those articles said...

"Mack repeatedly beat the Texans’ defense to the punch, working the perimeter for the majority of his yards."

Was that the impression anyone here was left with? My overwhelming impression is that of him following Big Q into the 3-gap? (I'm not completely fluent with the terminology). But aside from a few runs that he busted outside, I thought he got most of his yardage between the tackles.

Maybe I'm just still buzzing from that double-juke run he had. I echo others here who have called it the best run of his career. Just Barry Sanders-esque.

Yeah that was embarrassing. And it was Shareece Wright bitching of all players. If he has a roster spot next year, it's down to blackmail and nothing else.

Essentially put the Titans and Texans out of the playoffs in back to back weeks

Pretty good statement about the division

Gaps are pretty simple. The A gaps are on either side of the center. B gaps are outside shoulder of the guards. C gaps are outside shoulder of the tackles. Some teams will change those to numbers, but the concept is the same.

It’s hard to run outside on the Texans because of their speed. I think you are right he started inside and a few he worked his way outside.
