(vs. BRONCOS, 10/06)

Prior to their loss to the Raiders on Sunday, the Broncos' defense led the league in points allowed, at 11 points per game (33 overall.)

That said, they gave up 25 of the 32 points that were scored against the previously-winless Raiders 4 days ago ...... after a disastrous first 4 games of the season, will the Colts' offensive line finally have at least a decent game tonight on ) Thursday Night Football ???

I thought that at most, there may have been a slight improvement on the offensive line as compared to the first 4 games of the season ...... but that isn't saying much, considering how awful they were in those first 4 games.

We had a mobile QB last year. We drafted Sam who is a very mobile QB. If there was a good mobile QB I’m sure we would have looked at him.

The difference is their consistent high investment in the oline and their development of Hurts. We stopped after Nelson and Smith. You can’t stop and you need to also use FA. Our dline looks good finally.

Great Colts O-line...Ryan Kelly is done, period...Smith has regressed a lot...and Q is starting to regress.
All have got large $$$ and are now playing safe trying to collect those $$$ for as long as they can while doing the minimum that they can.

This is going to sound so sort of whacko but to me, it looks like Q's legs have shrunk. In the past it seemed like he was sort of this pear body with his belly, waist, and thighs all just being one big connected mass.

Looking at him now it seems like his legs are too skinny relative to his torso. He doesn't appear to have as much power as he once did.

I dunno, but that's the 2nd time I've seen Q rag dolled this season.

What to know: ) The Colts' offensive struggles continued against Kansas City, but Indianapolis overcame a recurring early-season theme to notch their best moment of the season for coach Frank Reich and quarterback Matt Ryan. After buckling under the Chiefs' blitzes all day, the Colts managed to mount a game-winning drive, upset the Chiefs and move to 1-1-1.

Can the Colts create any offensive consistency despite their blocking issues ??? ) The Colts have endured more offensive line struggles this season than at any other point in Reich's tenure with the team. As a result, the immobile Ryan (five sacks) is having a difficult time dealing with the consistent pressure, evidenced by his seven fumbles -- the most through three games since Mike Vick had seven in 2011. To create any consistency, the Colts are going to have to truly stabilize things up front.

(ONE MONTH LATER)

If their offensive line had been even average this season, the Colts would be one of the best teams in the NFL ...... and if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle.
