Default Building Blocks....

2016 Draft Class:

Quote:
Last year the Colts relied on rookies more than all but one team in the NFL. Pro Football Focus tweeted a graphic that shows how many snaps each team saw from rookies last year, and the Colts were second with 4,393, behind only the Cleveland Browns (5,521).

First round center Ryan Kelly started all 16 games, while fifth round lineman Joe Haeg started 14 games (playing in 15). Third round tackle Le’Raven Clark played in eight games and started three; second round safety T.J. Green played in 15 games and started four; fourth round linebacker Antonio Morrison played in all 16 games and started four; fourth round defensive lineman Hassan Ridgeway played in all 16 games and started five, and seventh round offensive lineman Austin Blythe played in eight games and started one. That’s in addition to some notable undrafted rookies who played a decent amount of snaps too, such as Chester Rogers, Josh Ferguson, and Matthias Farley.
2017 Free Agency Class:

TE Jack Doyle
NT Jonathan Hankins
OLB Jabaal Sheard
OLB John Simon
((plus 1 year "show me" contracts for Aiken, Spence, Schwenke and Hunt.))

2017 Draft Class:

1st round = FS Malik Hooker
2nd round = CB Quincy Wilson
3rd round = OLB Tarrell Basham
4th round = OL Zach Banner, RB Marlon Mack, NT Grover Stewart
5th round = CB Nate Hairston, ILB Anthony Walker

Added to Colts veterans like Luck, 'Stanzo, Mewhort, Hilton, Moncrief, Davis, Anderson, Parry and Langford.

Good things could be happening for the Colts.

Cheers,

I feel a lot better about the roster this year than I did last year. There's just a lot more upside. Ultimately, of course, it's going to come down to Pagano's ability to coach.

Not really.

I think he is going to have to work hard to make the roster. He was signed before we signed Hankins and drafted Stewart. I don't think he is explosive enough to play the DT position so I think at 307 pounds he is misscast on this line.

I don't know where he would play.
