First Time Since October 6, 1985, 3rd Time in Franchise History
o
For the first time since October 6th of 1985, and for the 3rd time ever in franchise history (1953 - Present), the Colts had two 100-yard rushers in the same game. Albert Bentley and Randy McMillan did it for the Colts in a win over the Bills on that day in early October of 1985. https://www.pro-football-reference.c...8510060clt.htm This afternoon, Marlon Mack and Jonathan Williams did it in the team's win against the Jaguars. https://www.espn.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=401128075 SOURCE: ) Michael Marot (Associated Press) in Minnesota's Star Tribune http://www.startribune.com/colts-ove...win/565066882/ o

On a hunch, I looked up Alan Ameche's career game log ........ sure enough, he was involved in the only other game in Colts franchise history in which they had two 100-yard rushers. Ameche and Lenny Moore did it in a win over the Browns on November 11th of 1956. https://www.pro-football-reference.c...5611110cle.htm o

Jonathan Williams just had his second 100-plus yard game rushing in 4 days ........ that's quite a feet, considering that those are the only 2 games in which he has seen any real action in (he had 2 rushing attempts against the Dolphins a week-and-a-half ago.) o

It reafirms what I have said over and over. Mack is as good as the Oline. Trade Mack for a second and roll with Williams. Nothing lost I say a second..... which I don't thinks he's worth.... but some stupid team will We don't lose a step Mack is a productct of the Oline.

I don't think that 2 excellent games by Williams necessarily reaffirms anything about Mack. If you don't like Mack and/or think that he is overrated, fine. Don't put words in my mouth and/or assert that I believe something of which I never insinuated. o
