Won't really know for sure till you get him in camp. He could be a catching TE, he is a decent and willing blocker on the outside. I don't know if he could take on a DE though. He might be just a hybrid type player. He has a better catch radius than a lot of TE's I see and this is a weak TE class. At best he can be an X receiver and a stretch receiving TE. He would be a huge mismatch on a LB not named Isiah Simmon or one of these new big nickles. If y ou take him, I would take another WR though as well.

If I drafted him, that would be my plan.

Think he could flex either way, could be valuable in that role. A matchup nightmare for LB's trying to cover him with his speed. Had a fantastic combine. Not to mention he is a Golden Domer !!!

Your score is: 43463 (GRADE: A)
Your Picks: Round 2 Pick 9 (CLE): Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon (A+) Round 2 Pick 27 (SEA): Patrick Queen, ILB, LSU (A+) Round 3 Pick 3 (DET): Michael Pittman Jr., WR, USC (A) Round 3 Pick 10 (CLE): Hunter Bryant, TE, Washington (A+) Round 3 Pick 11: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, LSU (A) Round 3 Pick 31 (DEN): Chase Claypool, WR/TE, Notre Dame (A+) Round 3 Pick 35 (NYG): Khalid Kareem, DE/OLB, Notre Dame (A+) Round 4 Pick 7 (CAR): Jack Driscoll, OT, Auburn (A+) Round 4 Pick 16: Amik Robertson, CB, Louisiana Tech (A+) Round 5 Pick 8 (MIA): Rashard Lawrence, DT, LSU (A+) Round 5 Pick 18 (DAL): Brian Cole II, FS/SS, Miss. State (A+) Round 5 Pick 33 (DAL): A.J. Green, CB, Oklahoma St. (A+) Round 6 Pick 18: John Hightower, WR, Boise St. (A+) Round 7 Pick 13 (MIA): Antoine Brooks Jr., FS/SS, Maryland (A+) Round 7 Pick 17 (DAL): Rodrigo Blankenship, K, Georgia (A+) Round 7 Pick 32 (MIA): Shyheim Carter, FS, Alabama (A+) There is no way the actual draft turns out that well. Herbert's play style fits today's NFL and I can see him developing into a franchise QB if he has time to sit and learn. Getting a LB who will likely go top 25 in the actual draft at 57 is a steal. I watched film on Michael Pittman, he looks like a WR that would've gone late in round 1 or early in round 2 in recent drafts, and I love his ability to highpoint the ball. If Frank Reich had Hunter Bryant, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and Chase Claypool at his disposal, he would be salivating at the mismatch opportunities available to him on a weekly basis. Khalid Kareem fits what the Colts want in players off the field and DL on the field to a T. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he actually ends up a Colt. Driscoll is a developmental LT who could provide value as a backup or potentially start at RT and allow Braden Smith to kick inside to RG. Amik Robertson is a very similar player to Kenny Moore and would offer a similar skillset. Rashard Lawrence is considered by many to be a top 50-100 player in this class and flashes some pass rush ability. Getting him in round 5 is a steal. Everyone else was chosen mostly for their special teams ability, developmental traits, or both. |

The more research I do, thanks to the free time I’d take Pittman or peoples-jones over shenault or Higgins they seem like better catch in traffic guys with big bodies that aren’t afraid of contact or only wanna run deep routes like the other 2

I don't think there is any chance that Herbert or Love last until the 2nd round. None.

QB's were being taken too high for me in this mock draft - Hurts and Fromm were drafted way too early. I would have picked a DL with the first pick but Gallimore and others were already gone so I went BPA of the non-WR's. Flipped Pick 34 for Picks 55 and 60.

A lot of love for Love, but I'd take Eason.
Bigger body and less mistakes. Very trainable. |

Then you have to figure out what you are going to do with your 3rd string QB. Carry 3 or risk hiding him on the practice squad. I think there is less than a 1% chance they get rid of JB. He is on the last yr of his contract, costs to much for anyone to want to trade for him and he can win a game or two if Rivers gets dinged up.
