On 1st-and-20, a fake hand-off to Taylor and Richardson keeping it going the opposite direction on a designed quarterback run would have been nice.



I'm not claiming that I would be a good play-caller (I wouldn't), but Steichen is so predictable that a 12-year old fan in the 7th-grade could guess what he is going to call.

They were on their way to marching down the field again. Barely missed a wide open Pierce, Grandson big play called back because MAC got destroyed.

I hope he keeps being this predictable.

Steichen is painfully predictable, and anybody who has even a modest knowledge of football knows this.

If you want to defend him, fine, but the lonely island that you're on with him is lonely for a good reason.

I think they would have got the TD anyway, so the penalty outcome itself doesn't enrage me. But the absolutely fucking horrendous call does.
