It's mind numbing watching all the people apologize for Richardson sucking. Y'all look for one little moment to say he is progressing. He was a freak crossing route screw up from being like 1-12 in the first half. He had a couple dropped passes that should have been caught, but he had a lot more absolute horrible QB play. He is a freak of nature athletically, but has no idea how to be a professional QB. He just doesn't get it, and he never will. The same knocks in he had in high school and college, they followed him to the pro's. They are never going to coach him up. He is a bust and I will guarantee I am right. We wasted a draft pick that could have been used on defense. This team is so poorly constructed.

Today, I hardly ever saw a pass that sailed high over the receivers head or was way off target, long or short. In other words, I saw progress.
Thank you. This was his best game of the season, from an accuracy standpoint.

Not so on decision making.

This is probably the same ting that was being said o Bert Jones in '73 and '74. In '75 he was a division champ and in '76 the Offensive player of the year and the NFL MVP.

That is what I saw, too. His accuracy is improving, even if the completion percentage is not.

I fully agree. I felt like today was his best passing day as a Colt. There were not the wildly inaccurate high balls we've seen so much of. There were some dimes out there- in particular the passes to Goodson and Downs- those were GREAT passes.

Decision making, obviously that INT was a terrible decision. Even there though, I remain enraged that he was put in that position to begin with, I am shocked Steichen could be THAT bad at play calling. One of the dumbest fucking approaches I can recall.

I see enough to feel like he could be the guy. I don't think he's gonna be the guy if we continue to do this shit where we try to force him to be this methodical pocket passer vs the guy we drafted for the purpose of NOT BEING the traditional pocket QB. The drive after the fumble being the primary example. You just got a gift, you have momentum, you have seen AR do great work on the edges, but you just stand him up in the pocket like some stoic super hero QB of lore. WTF?

AR may well end up being a colossal bust but you can’t make that call yet. He has to be given time to try and figure it out.

That truly was so damn idiotic. A fucking pee wee lleague head coach knows how boneheaded that approach was. Still fuming about that BS. Steichen makes a lot of bone headed calls especially before half-time.

Can’t have him run if he’s gonna get tired

He is a colossal bust. He tapped himself out cause he was tired. The franchise QB tapped out cause he was tired. The dude is a swing and a miss. From high school to pros you would expect to see a semblance of improvement, instead we get more of the same. The NFL heap pile is full of talented guys who never got it. More will be added including this one. He will be a footnote in the history of potential.
