Ballard has checked out. Maybe a dead man walking? Who knows. No reason to fire a GM mid season. Nothing team wise will change from it. I do believe if guys are underperforming Saturday will find a place for them on the bench. I like that. Be accountable to your teammates

So I disagree IF Jim had gone status quo we would all be persecuting him

He sees that we are probably out of it and brining in the guy that has been consulting can work with Chris and Jim and help determine the direction the team needs to go.

IMO Chris (right or wrong) will need to work with Jeff more closely than he has with Frank on players and strategy.

Chris will have an out if Jim leans toward Jeff's decisions more than Chris's

I drank Jamison shots with every UMM. so I may rethink in the morning.

I thought Jim's answer on that question made Chris look even more uncomfortable. And I was uncomfortable for him. UGH. that was not a true answer of confidence in my mind.

But I do think Chris makes it at least another yr

Ballard indicated that the Colts tried to hire Saturday to be the OL coach a few times over the last several years....including before this season.

This whole thing is crazy. I don’t even know where to start. Guess the end result will be the same though. Take a QB or a LT this draft. Not a fan of the QBs in this draft but oh well. I’ll watch anyway.

I like it he said Jeff’s not scared and they’re not throwing in the towel

Best part to me was the superbowl story Saturday told mudd they didn’t need to zone block vs the bears they needed to man block so mudd made the change

I don’t know if this will work but fuck it hopefully they win out

Agreed. A great LT would be the priority, unless a can't miss QB slips to the Colts. Then maybe, if Ehlinger isn't the answer (and he probably isn't, but he has this season to find out), just try a journeyman type QB if value is out there and who knows what happens. If he sucks, then try for a QB in the next draft.

I remember Tarik Glenn was drafted before Peyton Manning, and that worked out well.

I think the QB has to be found this year if they're tanking. Unfortunately, much like Chromeburn, I don't see a lot I like in the upcoming QB crop. There certainly isn't a Joe Burrow in the group. Then again, Joe Burrow was probably my highest graded QB ever, so not exactly a low bar to hit there.
