Ballard is part of the problem - he needs to go also.

There's that guy who wears 15 and typically a cape that is the biggest reason for that. Ballard will finally get his shot at one of those this offseason.

Good info, regardless of which side of the fence that one is on in regard to Ballard and/or Saturday.

It was hap hazard sarcasm. #15 can't do it all. Stud yes, but still need pieces, and they have them in important positions. Us? Not so much. We have a talented roster, but missing a lot of pieces in key positions. He has an opportunity to correct 1 or 2 of those this coming April.

I know most here won't believe this, but most of the other pieces are in place. QB is so important, and the position has been such a black hole for the Colts this year, that the addition of a franchise QB would take this team from Top 5 pick to at a minimum high playoff seed.

The biggest thing that needs fixing lies between the ears of our players in my opinion. Physically we are way way better than we play. It is a tough fix but it can be done. The biggest single physical problem is we absolutely must get a quarterback in the draft, even if it isn’t a perfect fit. Players can be developed, but it takes a whole organization working for the same thing. Ballard keeps waiting for the perfect QB, is he willing to roll the dice? Who knows. We need to have the football gods smile on us and get some luck.

Saturday might be fine. He’s not an offensive mastermind, but you don’t need to have that in a head coach, just as long as he knows how to motivate.

What they do need, though is an offensive coordinator who’s able to nurture and mold a young QB while bringing an element of innovation to the game plan.

If you were Sean (there must be 20 teams who want me as their coach) Payton, would you come here?
