A Day 3 guy? On what planet?
Tiki Barber was a good RB who almost got cut because of fumble issues. He fixed it, and became one of the top 5 RBs in the NFL for several years. Hopefully Taylor can do the same, but a RB with fumble problems and high mileage is like a WR who can't catch or run routes.

Also, I find it funny that some here always bring up my "obsession" with 40 times and you're using a 40 time as justification for this pick. Edwards-Helaire ran a 4.6 and I'd've taken him over Taylor in a heartbeat.

They took a Day 3 guy at 41 is what I'm saying. Again, I hope he proves me wrong, but a RB with a fumbling problem and high mileage is like a WR who can't catch or run routes. Why would I care how good the positives are at that point?
I’m just saying this guy fit Ballards profile to a T. In hindsight, it should have been obvious. Mack isn’t getting another contract, Wilkins is a good but limited player, and Hines is a classic 3rd down back. There’s a big need for a player like Taylor.

They obviously feel like they can coach the wrinkles out of him. Let’s hope they’re right.

Nelson was 2 years ago, and I said at the time the only way he'd be worth the pick was if he was HOF level. Turned out he was.

Interview with Michael Pittman on NFL radio.

Says he was really hoping they would pick him when the Indy pick came up.

Thinks he fits into our offense well and thinks he can learn a lot from Philip and TY. Can't wait to get to Indy and play ball.

He will be learning virtually somehow in the meantime.

All the talks with the Colts staff makes him think he will fit in perfectly and how they see him in the offense.

Usually only during a game but I’m thinking qb. Not that I necessarily think we should.

I would really love a TE here. Not sure which one, Trautman, Bryant, Hopkins?
