I know that it's a throw I've seen Peyton squeeze in there dozens of times.

It isn’t smart situational football though. Take the easy 5 and make sure you convert the 3rd down. The margin of error is much smaller on the seam route and you could be left with a FG attempt.

Regardless, it’s a minor quibble and not a blatant misread like the 4th quarter miss to Campbell over the middle.
