Crazy. I'm not the biggest NBA fan, but I'm definitely glad I tuned in and stuck w/ game 1. Would be awesome if they're able to bring another championship to Indy!!

Gonna need better effort Wednesday than last night. We were letting OKC dictate the game.

(GAME THREE) The Bad News: llll The Thunder are 10-for-18 from 3-point range at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Good News: ll In spite of this, the Pacers are only down by 5 points, and are very much alive to get the W in the 4th quarter. o

Mission accomplished! Mathurin came to play, and so did TJ McConnell. Turner came up big on defense in the 4th. This was a team win if there ever was one.

Even more eye-popping than the Thunder's 3-point shooting was a separate statistic that was dominated by the Pacers ...... the Pacers' bench outscored the Thunders' bench, 49-18. l o

I’ve been a pacer fan since I was a kid. I went to the games where they took the bulls to seven games. Only team to ever do it. All the Knicks bruising series. I got angry when they could have drafted Kobe Bryant but didn’t. I saw them lose to the lakers after finally making it. I’ve watched them get a good team after good team but never quite put it all together. I almost cried in frustration during the brawl bc I knew that was a championship team and they threw it away. I think now is the only moment I’ve admitted to myself they could actually do it. It’s been so long and so used to disappointment. But something is powering this team, I’ve never seen anything like it. They can actually do it. And NBA championship to Indiana. Wow

The Pacers were the only team ever to take the Bulls 7 games after 1991. The Pistons beat the Bulls in the playoffs 3 straight season from 1988 through 1990. P.S. l agree, I think that the Pacers will win it all this year. o

Those Pacers teams were great, as they won 3 ABA championships in 4 years between 1970 and 1973 ...... but similarly to the AFL champions in football between 1960 and 1965, they never got a shot at the NBA champions in any of those seasons. I don't think they would have beaten the 1971-72 Lakers, as they were one of the greatest teams of all time. That Lakers team went 69-13, and had what is still a record 33-game winning streak. But I do think that they would have given the Knicks a run for their money in 1970 and 1973. The Pacers actually went to the ABA Finals 4 times in 5 years between 1969 and 1973, but they lost to Rick Barry's Oakland Oaks in 1969. The ABA beat the NBA 79 times to 76 times in the 155 exhibition games that they played against each other ...... and unlike the Pro Bowl in the NFL, they played those games like they cared, and like it meant something to them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjCd8anskXo o
