Man if they would bring another rusher we might get Wilson, but no we don't exploit the biggest weakness they have.

Now if our coaches would be smart enough to take advantage of all the injuries their D has on defense

o

If the refs had called it, Pagano would have accepted the penalty in lieu of the INT.

The Panthers lost the 2003 season Super Bowl that way, and coaches to this day still have not learned from it. They went for 2 when it was very early in the 4th quarter and missed it, went for 2 AGAIN 5 minutes later in the quarter and missed it, and the Patriots went for 2 and got it (they would not have gone for 2 if the Panthers had simply kicked their extra points instead of having gone for Two 2-point conversions.)

Subsequently, the Patriots kicked the game-winning field goal as time expired, instead of the game-tying field goal.

Yeah, generally you don't go for two/chase points until the 4th quarter, period. There are extenuating circumstances where you might do it in the 3rd quarter, but you sure as hell don't start doing it in the first half.

It'll all be mostly moot if we score the last points of the half, but if the Seahawks score a TD before we score our next points, then we're down two scores instead of one score like we would've been had we kicked the XP.
