I would be fan of Brissett playing the 1st half and Eason playing the 2nd.

The Colts could wrap up a playoff spot this weekend without necessarily securing the division title ........ and that could be the difference between a #2 or a #3 seed should they win the division title, or a #6 or a #7 seed should they have to settle for a Wildcard berth.

So regardless of what happens against the Steelers on Sunday, the Colts' season finale against the Jaguars will be meaningful ...... and if the Colts beat the Steelers and the Titans lose to the Packers in Wisconsin (both of which are very real possibilities), that final game against the Jaguars will be of the utmost importance to Frank Reich.

Granted that due to the empty (or near-empty) stadiums, home-field advantage will be at a minimum in the upcoming post-season ...... but a higher seeding which would allow the Colts to avoid facing the Chiefs until the AFC championship game does seem to be an important factor in the overall scheme of things.

yep there's no way we settle for the 6 or 7 seed when home field advantage is attainable.

Also, in addition to playing the Packers in Green Bay, the Titans also play the Texans in Houston the following week ...... a team which they barely beat earlier in the season, and a team which has a real pain-in-the-ass quarterback who can both run and throw ...... so it's not far-fetched to think that the Colts could still win the division if they split their remaining 2 games while the Titans lose both of their games to the Packers and the Texans.

That said, 2 wins (and a division title) would likely get the Colts at least the #3 seed ...... and if the Colts are a #3 seed, there is no possible way that they would be matched up against the #1-seed Chiefs in the divisional playoffs should they get that far.

I just used a playoff predictor and saw that we could actually get the 2 seed if:
Week 16:
we win vs Pitt
Tenn loses to GB
Bills lose to NE

and in Week 17:
we win vs Jags
Miami beats Bills
Steelers beat Browns

basically it requires Colts to win out, the bills to go 0-2 to finish, and for Cleveland and Tenn to both do no better than 1-1

Its a pretty unlikely scenario, primarily to expect the Bills to lose at NE (could happen, its my pick in Sodas Picks this week) and lose at home to Miami (I don't see this as likely).
Also Cleveland could likely win out, as they have to play Jets on the road, and then get Steelers at home. If this happens and Bills go 0-2, we are the 3 seed. However, if this happens AND we also lose one, then we are out of the playoffs.
So its pretty weird we can go anywhere from as high as the 2 seed to as low as out of the playoffs entirely.

We must win out regardless of where that puts us in the seeding.

Ebron has become my most disliked player since Gilbert Gardner.
