Interesting.
I wouldn't trade for him. I'd maybe kick the tires once he's released though. |

I hate the term “legal tampering.” Either teams are allowed to talk to free agents or they are not.

I agree, certainly not at 12 million, but at a more team friendly price, I would be interested.

The #Giants are trading LB Olivier Vernon to the #Browns, sources tell me and @RapSheet.
Take one off the board. |

@JosinaAnderson
I'm told #Jaguars DT Malik Jackson was been informed he will be released as early as today, per source. |

@RapSheet
S Tashaun Gipson has also been released, source said. Carlos Hyde, Malik Jackson, Gipson. AFAIK, he’s pretty decent. Could be another clearance rack option if they fail to sign Landon Collins. |

Indeed.
With the generated dead money from the cuts combined with their expected spending on spots 52/53, PS and churn, it appears that JAX is sitting on about $23m that can be used to sign new free agents. That gets Foles signed but does not provide the cap space to sign any of their outgoing FAs to include: DT Malik Jackson TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins T.J. Yeldon FS Tashaun Gipson WR Donte Moncrief RT Jermey Parnell They can probably RFA tag their starting LG in Chris Reed, however, if they want. The beginning of the end for this ear of JAX Jaguars. Walk Worthy,

Decent trade for both. Corbett is probably ready to step up for the Browns. I wonder if the Browns regret not taking Chubb though.
