Why not both? See if Cincinnati will send Trey Hendrickson and Cam Taylor-Britt for a 2nd and a 4th.

Both Cinci beat reporters and national reporters are saying that it is very unlikely that the Bengals will trade Hendrickson right now. So if the goal is to upgrade both DE and CB via one trade, the Colts may have to pivot to a team like the Saints to get a deal done. Last edited by AlwaysSunnyinIndy; 10-25-2025 at 12:59 PM. |

Trades get made so that both sides benefit. At least when the trade is made, that's how both sides see it. If you were the GM of the Bengals, would you make this trade?

I might ask for a bit more, but yes. They need future assets to help Burrow. Hendrickson and Taylor-Britt are both expiring contracts that aren't likely to come back. So, I might ask for a little more, but it would probably be in 2027 draft capital.

For me i would prefer a trade for a DE. I think long term we need that upgrade more than at CB, it shouldn't just be about this season. Next year we might lose Paye, Ebukam, and Lewis, but at CB, we are likely to still have Ward, Jones, Walley, etc. We might lose Moore and Hilton.

Not yet, because Flacco has given them hope. Two weeks from now, that may be a different story.
