Alec Pierce
Perhaps colts should have taken Skye Moore who went 1 pick later. Pierce can't seem to get separation.

Pierce is going to be ok guys. He is a downfield threat, which unfortunately at this moment in time with Richardson being spoon fed a basic scheme, is not likely to be a staple of the offense in the early weeks. We drafted him knowing full well that his route tree was not highly developed.

I guess the real mistake was when they took Parris Campbell when Terry Mclaurin was available.

He's their deep threat and they were scheming to take away the deep ball. We will see a lot of Downs and Gransen this season till they come out of that cover two-shell.
But Pierce’s game isnt running and juking guys with precise routes underneath. His game is going deep and going up for contested catches over the CB. If he is getting doubled he is drawing attention away for other guys to pick up the slack. Last edited by Chromeburn; 09-11-2023 at 05:50 PM. |

Mclaurin is also from Ohio St., so he just would've gotten hurt with us too. I'm sorry, but it's just we have no luck with Buckeyes.
