I'm sure that C&O, Oldcolt and a few other old timers will remember this. But, in 1986 the Colts fired Rod Dowhower after a 0-13 start and replaced him with Ron Meyer. Meyer won the final 3 games of that season.

Jeff Saturday is Colts' 5th interim HC since 1984; 4th if you exclude Bruce Arians. BA took over for 12 games in 2012 after Chuck Pagano diagnosed with leukemia. Colts 9-3 with BA, who was named Coach of the Year.
