Vin Scully passed away
Vince was my favorite broadcaster in all of sports. 67 seasons calling games for the Dodgers, beginning in 1950 and ending in 2016.
He never needed a partner in the booth with him. He was that fucking great. Vince had some of the greatest baseball stories ever. We lost a true legend in MR. SCULLY! RIP SIR.

I was lucky to grow up in the LA valley, listening to the Dodgers all summer.
KFI carried the games, 100,000 watts. We could travel up into the central San Joaquin valley, and still pick up the games. Every small town had a AA or A team, so we could go to the game, and listen to the dodgers at the same time. We went to a Padres game in SD, they were playing SF. And we could hear the dodger game and Skully on the padre fans radios. Watching the Padres, listening to Vince. |
