Ok. I would say most every team does this. Especially if they don’t have a franchise QB in place. I read something similar about the Rams.
What will be interesting is seeing how Wentz differs from Rivers. Wentz likes those bigger downfield throws and holds the ball a tad longer. I also see Pittman getting a lot of catches bc he seems to got the type of receiver Wentz likes. It took Rivers about half a season to start finding a connection with TY. I worry about Campbell’s touches, because those slants crosses and hitches, things Cambell does well in the slot are things Wentz has struggled with in both accuracy and just finding the receiver. So it will be interesting to see if those are de-emphasized in the scheme. |
