I'm sure we'll sign some depth and draft at least one

I imagine we go OT and WR in the second. Depending on who is available where. I am eyeing that OT out of USC if he slips. USC always provides quality tackles to the league.

Colts release backup QB Brian Hoyer per the team twitter account. There was money that would become guaranteed if he was still on the roster past tomorrow.

So, with some in season space needed, we probably have about $30m we could spend on free agents. Could still sign a couple of "value" phase veteran free agents for that. |

Colts don't save the entire amount from releasing Hoyer. There is a $2MM dead cap hit. So they can add about $3MM to their cap space from the move. |

They need to just trade Brissett for anything.

I would be shocked if they didn't keep Brissett. If Ballard thinks this team has post season aspirations you need a good back up with a 38 year old starter (or any age starter for that matter). Brissett is definitely that.
