Are the Pats that good or is the NFL that bad?
Put your bias aside and discuss.
It seems unusual for any sports franchise to have that amount of sustained success. Most organizations go through a season or two of losing seasons. |

If you consider all the shady doings...
That said, you have to consider that the NFL has had three dominant AFC teams since 2000, taking the majority of the SB appearances. The NFC has had much more parity. Because the three franchises have had to play each other so often, and NE has been in the AFC East, they gain the huge HFA in the playoffs (not to mention during the regular season somehow), making it easier to cheat.

They cheat, so we'll never honestly know. I think the Colts of the 2000s were better than them from a talent perspective, and the only reason they achieved the results they did was their rampant cheating. Bill Polian had to ban cameras from the sidelines in 2007 to get a fair AFC Championship Game. They'd fall victim to parity ar it not for their cheating.

Exactly. Sadly, they have bought the refs, now. I wonder how many hooker laden parties Tommy throws for them. Probably more than his completions.
