Jordan Howard RB-CHI
CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Bears are shopping Jordan Howard via trade.
Howard is a one-dimensional early-down back entering the final year of his contract. He was fine with a 260-970-9 rushing line while averaging just over 3.7 YPC, but Howard just doesn't seem to fit the way coach Matt Nagy likes to call a game. Tarik Cohen is deserving of more work, and Nagy likely prefers backs that can contribute in all phases. At one point last year, there were rumors the Dolphins were interested in Howard. He wouldn't bring back anything more than a late pick. https://www.rotoworld.com/football/n.../jordan-howard DOB (Age): 11/2/1994 (24) HT/WT: 6' 0" / 224 lbs. College: Indiana Drafted: 2016 / Rd. 5 (150) / CHI 2018 Stats G 16 RUSH YDS 935 AVG 3.7 REC 20 REC YDS 145 TDS 9 If a late round pick is all that is being asked I would make the call. Any thoughts?

Howard is like a poor man's Adrian Peterson. Good player but I don't think he fits here.

I just can't see trading for a RB of any type, Howard or otherwise.
I like Howard. he is a good back. But you just don't see many trades for RBs anymore and he isn't that much better than what the Colts have already |

Seems like the shelf life of a running back is 3-5 good years, if that. They spent a decent pick to get Mack, roll with him and keep churning the depth, if needed. There just isn't any value in paying up for a running back, be it Bell or others.
