I am not sure I can recall Irsay ever criticizing one of his players in public before. I wonder how deep his anger is.

Hopefully deep enough to try and get a franchise QB, ( if there is one) in this years draft.

If Wentz has a brain and want to stay long term in Indy he should see this as writing on the wall. Get your shit together man.

With what pick? The one we gave away to the Eagles?

When have any of Irsay's comments been helpful to the team?

Sad that we are like any other bad NFL team.
After Unitas, Morral, Jones, Manning, and Luck this franchise was blessed. Fans should not bring up any younger and failed QBs like a Trubinsky. The Colts don't have a magic wand caching staff to create elsewhere failures into successes. Is anyone else kinda wishing last season they would have taken a risk on Tom Brady? I wonder if this coaching staff would follow the often failed idea of a rookie QB holding a clipboard their first season. Unfortunately a bad front office can curse a team for a long time. I remember that in the 80's. Elway didn't want to be a Colt and also a slew of bad draft choices. It will take some time to remove the damage of Grigson. It's a sad state for me as a Colt fan. |
