If the Colts are seen as an undesirable job, what's the appeal of Denver? They fire coaches like it's nothing.

Right. There's no arbitrary limits when it comes to staff salary. Even if you overpay in a bidding war, it doesn't affect the team. And when you're worth $4 billion or whatever, I don't know how much it affects you.

Allegedly they have the QB in place in Russell Wilson. But I don't see it. His play has fallen off dramatically and will only get worse.

Plenty of competition for his services - but I'd like to see Harbaugh end up as Colts coach. Hire him and send Saturday and Ballard packing.
