They lost against Pittsburgh and KC on the road, in the toughest of environments, by a total of 10 points, one in Overtime The game vs Atlanta was a 9 am affair at the end of a 5000 mile road trip.

The Pittsburgh game was never in doubt. They scored a touchdown very late to make the final margin 7 points but that game was over at halftime.

They also played like crap against a bad Falcons team but managed to scrape out a win.

I will say they played better against a championship caliber Chiefs team coming off a bye, which is a reason for optimism.

But again, regardless of how you dress it up, they’re 1-2 in their last 3 games with their lone win coming against a 3 win Falcons team.
