According to Tom Matte, the Baltimore Colts were America's team before the Dallas Cowboys were. After the Colts beat the Giants in overtime in the 1958 world championship game, the Colts were America's team from 1959 through 1970. After the Cowboys beat the Dolphins in the 1971 season Super Bowl, they were then declared to be America's team. o

Bjoern Werner. Ughh. Talk about a waste of a draft pick. Did he ever even get a sack?
I just looked it up, looks like he had a grand total of 4.5 sacks in his Colts career. Again, ughh.
