Manning had an excellent game, as the Longhorns dismantled the previously-undefeated Sooners by a score of 23-6.

Manning had a decent game, but it was the Texas defense that made the difference. 3 INTs and almost totally shut down the run game. Hopefully, this game will give Manning some confidence. He had a huge monkey of expectation on his back.
