I've been a certified MAC hater for years. Not on a personal level but I've just felt we had opportunity to be better there and have been frustrated that someone hasn't effectively taken his job. I have to admit I respect the fact he's held onto it this long, which indicates to me it was always his job to lose.
One thing about Indianapolis over the last decade that I have genuinely enjoyed is how tough our TE's have been the last decade. Doyle and MAC are both some of the hardest "tackles" I have ever seen. I've lost count of how many defenders I've watched get scraped off the field after making the tackle but getting punished doing so. Doyle was a special kind of evil in this regard.
