I'm not a fan of short QBs. Not that I was ever a quality QB, but I played QB when I was in the Air Force. I'm only 5' 7" and I can tell you, I had a good mind for the game and a very good arm. However, there were times when I threw passes to where I figured my guy would be but the onrushing line prevented me from seeing the entire field. In the NFL, this will happen to Bryce Young. If he fell to our 4th pick I'd take a chance on him, but if I were the GM, I wouldn't trade up to get him.

Drew Brees and Russell Wilson are both short and have won super bowls. Both had coaches who would roll them out or move the pocket so they could work. Young is athletic and appears to have good feet. He can succeed if they allow him to work like Wilson, with play action, reverse rollouts.
