How do you NOT play Leonard?
I posted this in the game thread but it was fast moving.
During the game they specifically called out the fact that Leonard had been cleared. They went on to state he wanted to play but Frank said they outvoted him and decided to shelve him again this week. Look, the D is playing well, but there is no question Leonard is the heart of that D and is always creating TO's. He brings an edge that is just absent when he isn't out there. He is one of our best players and helps our chances to win. Tua, dude is back out there tonight. Dangerous, possibly, overly aggressive, maybe, but the doctors said he is a go----- and THEY ARE PLAYING HIM because he is one of their best players and helps their chances of winning. Frank was asked about Taylor getting only 10 touches, someone noted that period where Jackson was in and questioned if that was injury related. Nope, said they went into this game planning to sit him for some series to ease him back in. "Planned to sit him for some series"... Man just think about what kind of overly baked thinking that is to take that approach. People talk about how there is NO HEART on this team. There's heart on this team, there are definitely dudes that scrap, particularly on D. Pittman, shit I think Pittman would throw down with any man on this planet. But the man that leads them, that man is the most over-analyzing paralysis by analysis dude that has EVER been on a sideline. He simply needs to be removed of his duties- go coach 7 vs 7 middle school and let the real football dudes handle this stuff. Damn... |

JMV show- Doyel allegedly told Frank he doesn't know what he is doing.
Man if so, that's just gold right there! |

Doyel is a tool. Nobody with a brain listens to him. However, he is right that Frank is lost.

Agree on Doyel. That said, hope it is true. Should be coming out of Ballard and Jim's mouth, but at least someone with a platform is saying it.

The team simply never takes the short term approach. Honestly I understand it with Leonard, he just got in game shape after no camp and then was limited for two weeks again. He’s not ready. And the D fucking played great. I don’t understand it for Taylor unless the ankle isn’t fully healed. Regardless, the long term approach starts with Ballard. Guy still hasn’t went all in on a season or a window. He’s always prioritizing the future. Any wonder the coach would as well?
