I didn't say I believe he should keep his job if we miss the playoffs. I said I think firing him after week 2 is nonsense. And saying you want the HC fired if your team misses the playoffs isn't exactly novel. I think a lot of teams with high expectations would be in that same boat.

If we miss the playoffs, I very well may be ready for him to go. But I tend to look at things with more nuance than typical. I can easily imagine scenarios where we miss the playoffs but I want Reich to return... e.g., we put key players on I.R. (knock) and just miss out via tie-breaker or something.
