Look, let's not rag on the guy, AV didn't have a strong leg in NE, and had a rough start early in his career.

For some reason his leg got stronger while in Indy and he hit many more 50+ yard field goals than he did et NE.

I agree, it was time to cut him loose. I believe it's all mental with this kid. He overthinks everything. Unlike the Canadian superstar to be MV, who thought he could make every kick whether or not he was really concentrating on his job or not.
