Now the cost includes Rock) Looking at it just this year a good trade. Looking at it over the last two years he ended up costing us a lot more than he should have.

Well you know what Ballard says: why spend cap space on player now when you can trade someone who has developed into a productive player and take on the player's cap hit a year from now?
