Cheats are releasing DE Gerri Green

The Cheats are releasing former Colt draft pick DE Gerri Green. I know when the Colts made their final roster cuts, they had hoped to re-sign him to their practice squad. Instead, he chose to sign with the Cheats practice squad. Perhaps the Colts sign him to their practice squad now? He went through the entire offseason program with the Colts.

The Patriots informed practice-squad DE Gerri Green that they are releasing him today. Green was a player they targeted after the final roster cutdown to bring in from the Colts. That opens a practice-squad spot, which LB Scooby Wright III appears targeted to fill.
